GANDHI HOUSE FUNCTION HELD ON 05th AUGUST, 2017

Showcasing the dauntless spirit of the youth for evolution, innovation and revolution, the students of Gandhi House celebrated their House Function ‘The Continuum’ at N.C. Jindal Public School, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi on 05th August, 2017. Dr. Sushil Kumar Gupta, President Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, New Delhi, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Mr. P.K. Jain, Ex Vice Chairman cum Manager, NCJPS, Managing Committee as the Guest of Honour. A homage was paid to the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi by garlanding his portrait. The portrait of our revered Bauji, Sh. O.P. Jindal, the trustee of the school was garlanded with profound reverence. The Gandhi House Function was dedicated to him as a tribute on his 87th Birth anniversary. Welcoming the Chief Guest and the gathering of proud parents, the Principal, Dr. D.K. Pandey lauded the efforts of the students and tutors of Gandhi House for presenting the theme ‘The Continuum’ beautifully. The Chief Guest, in his message, urged the teachers to keep themselves updated with the latest information in order to grip the attention of the students.
The cultural extravaganza ‘The Continuum’ portrayed synergistic interlink of the basic elements of life viz. water, land, fire, air and space, and man’s consistent striving for growth, progress, renewal and search for the new designs of human existence. The entirety of the programme involving live singing, instrumental beats and spirited portrayals, all reflected the paradigm shifts that are changing the landscape of the world.
The Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Gandhi House Wardens, Mrs. Bhumika Mahawar (House Warden, Senior Wing) and Mrs. Chetna Gupta (House Warden, Primary Wing). The celebration concluded with the National Anthem.
